GGOG Episode 7 – What’s Nintendo’s Future, F**got?

Published On March 14, 2014 | By Gay Gods of Gaming | Podcasts

We begin with a discussion of the future of Nintendo: where now for the House of Mario, since the Wii U is struggling? What to make of the company’s recent shift in emphasis toward products which “improve the quality of life”? Then, provoked by King of the Nerds contestant Xander Jeanneret we discuss the use of the term “faggot”. Has it become a term divorced of homophobic context, as Jeanneret recently suggested on a recent episode of Pass the Effin’ Remote podcast, or is it still a term of homophobic abuse? How is the term used in gaming circles? Hear the Gay Gods of Gaming pass judgment on this important issue! In our Happy Ending for the week we offer Nintendo some unsolicited suggestions for devices they could design which would reverse their fortunes. Did I hear someone say motion-control-enabled go-go boots?
